This project is a new photographic edition of Italo Calvino’s book The Path to the Nest of Spiders, aimed at visually evoking his figurative writing and illustrating the book’s settings.

The images are designed to capture the es- sence of the landscapes, characters, and atmospheres described by Calvino, adding a new visual dimension to the narrative. Each photograph is crafted to faithfully reflect the spirit of the text, allowing readers to immerse themselves even further in the world created by the author. This project creates a synergy between literature and photography, honoring Calvino’s imaginative richness and enhancing the reading experience with powerful visual cues.
